Electrical Multi Skilled Engineer

Closing date: 29/06/2018
Location: Perth, Scotland
Division: Operations

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should be apprentice trained with a minimum of 5 year experience
  • Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial or in a similarly demanding working environment
  • Proven experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installations and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • It is essential to be a multi skilled engineer, electrical skills would be beneficial
  • Experience in fault diagnosis in a production/manufacturing environment
  • 17th Edition Qualification is desirable but not essential

Butchers, Semi Skilled and Skilled

The ideal candidate will have some butchery experience gained in a comparable environment preferably with Lamb or Pork/Beef and;

  • Must be reliable and a team player
  • Good communicator
  • Must be physically fit
  • Able to follow detailed operating procedures with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Food Safety Level 2 qualification is desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • Qualification in Butchery i.e. NVQ Level 2 – Butchery
  • Excellent knife skills
  • At least two years experience in butchery

You will be working as part of the team within the Boning Hall responsible for ensuring that the quality and end product meets customer specifications at all times whilst ensuring Food Safety and Hygiene standards are met.

Environmental Officer
