Boning Hall Apprentice Trainer
This role offers a successful and rewarding career with the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification.
Working to a level 2 Butchery Apprenticeship qualification, you will spend fours days a week learning practical skills and one day a week on site in a classroom environment learning the knowledge required. The apprenticeships lasts between 12-18 months will the possibility of a full-time role thereafter. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 6:30am, average 45 hours per week depending on throughput.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Carrying out and completing tasks and undertaking projects both for the Company and educational institutions when required.
Demonstrating core productions skills through completion of the level 1 qualification.
Understanding supply chain and production flows.
Learning aspects of food science.
Understanding the principles of quality assurance and adhering to food safety.
Knowledge and Experience:
No previous experience necessary as all training will be provided.
Be ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Have manual dexterity.
Excellent problem solving skills.
A good team worker with excellent communication skills.
Must display a willingness to learn.
